A Vision Problem. Everyone Else's Solution

Why This Exists

Aktevy founder and CEO Moshe Ofer didn't set out to reinvent augmented reality.

He was trying to understand his own eyes.

A tumor pressing on his optic nerves didn't cost him his sight. It showed him how the brain creates the missing parts of an image from the signal it has. Studying how that signal travels from eye to brain led him somewhere unexpected: read the signal, and you don't need a camera to know what someone's looking at.

This led to a patent. Then several more.

Before the Patents, a Career

Aktevy isn't Ofer's first fix for a problem nobody else wanted to touch.

He earned a Master of Science in Management from Boston University and a science degree from the Open University while working full time, leaving the office at 10:45 every Thursday for two years for his MSM classes.

At Nortel/Telrad, he led the team that brought new-generation exchange software over from Nortel's Canadian operation, the foundation for an entire generation of electronic telephone exchanges.

At Motorola, he developed a wireless command-and-control system for water, electric, and sewage infrastructure. One deployment kept the power grid running across Texas through severe storms, rerouting electricity remotely as they hit.

At Delta Trading Co. Ltd., Olivetti's distributor in Israel, he sold enterprise systems to banks, earning him membership in Olivetti's Top Performance Corporate Club three years running, 1992 through 1994, one of the company's highest sales honors.

He's run ActivePoint, then Aktevy, as CEO since 2004.

What We're Racing Toward

A Standard, Not Just a Startup

Every AR and holographic display already has a place for this software to live. Aktevy licenses in, becoming the layer running beneath all of them.

How We Work

No implant. No surgery. Aktevy reads what the eye already sends the brain from the outside, using EEG, the same non-invasive tech already in wide clinical use.
